With the introduction of the Wi-Fi-enabled MOTO Z6w, Motorola is making it simple for those on the go to enjoy seamless mobile and home phone services on a single device. Z6w will operate on Fido's UNO service, which combines the benefits of cellular, home phone and high-speed Internet services into one handset. Customers can make unlimited local and Canadian long-distance wireless calls at home by leveraging an existing high-speed Internet connection with the same handset they use as their mobile device. The Fido UNO wireless router, optimized for voice usage, enhances wireless call clarity and reception inside the home network. Customers use the same handset inside and outside the home offering the convenience of having one phone number, one voicemail, one address book and one bill - all on one phone.

The sleek, rich-looking Z6w slider device offers an entertaining mobile experience with media-friendly features, including compatibility with Windows Media(R) Player 11 on the PC, high-speed USB 2.0 for fast downloads, a 2.0 megapixel camera and video capture and up to 2GB of optional removable memory to store a large multimedia library.

"We're thrilled to introduce the Motorola Z6w as Motorola's first Wi-Fi-enabled mobile phone in Canada," said Jim Madigan, director, GSM sales, Motorola Canada. "Handsets like Z6w are the way of the future for consumers who want to carry one device and have a seamless experience, while on the go."
