The WebTech Wireless MDT2000CE was developed to meet the demanding requirements of large transport, courier and freight delivery companies operating large vehicle fleets. It builds on the success of the existing MDT2000e with the addition of several new features including: turn-by-turn navigation with optional external, touch-screen, colour display for detailed navigation; real-time driver communication via text-to-speech (TTS) and voice command recognition (VCR); and enhanced and customizable digital forms. The MDT2000CE interfaces seamlessly with WebTech Wireless Locators and the feature-rich, web-based, Quadrant(TM) fleet management system.

The MDT2000CE provides fleet managers with more options for relaying critical and detailed information to drivers, and greatly improves communications efficiency. Drivers now have an easy-to-use device that allows them to receive incoming messages and driving instructions with fewer distractions or the need to stop, which increases overall efficiency and safety, while customizable digital forms and electronic HOS reporting reduce driver time spent on administrative duties.
