TORONTO, May 15 /CNW/ - This weekend, the Toronto chapter of Citizens for a Canadian Republic is sponsoring an open talk on the future of the British monarchy in Canada. In attendance will be the dean of Canadian journalistic wit, Allan Fotheringham, who will discuss why it's time for Canada to grow up and cut the apron strings from the institution.
