VANCOUVER, May 15 /CNW/ - Sun Gro Horticulture Income Fund (the "Fund") (TSX: GRO.UN) announced today a cash distribution of $0.03750 per unit for the May distribution period. The distribution will be made to unitholders of record at the close of business on May 30, 2008 and will be payable on or before June 16, 2008.

Holders of units who are non-residents of Canada will be subject to withholding taxes in respect of any distributions of income by the Fund.

Sun Gro Horticulture Income Fund is a limited purpose trust established on February 12, 2002 to hold the securities of Sun Gro Horticulture Canada Ltd. Sun Gro Horticulture Canada Ltd. is the largest producer of peat in North America and the largest distributor of peat moss and peat-based growing media to North American professional plant growers.
